On January 17th 2015, various Arab student organizations and young professionals participated in the CAI Emerging Leaders Workshop. The half-day workshop was hosted by Ryerson University’s Ted Rogers School of Management, and was specifically designed for the Canadian Arab Institute’s Youth Development Program by Susan Murray, of Clearpath Leadership. Aimed at developing leaders who inspire others, the workshop offered participants the opportunity to explore definitions, perceptions and examples of leadership. Participants identified their leadership strengths, talents and goals through assessment, conversation and reflection. It was a highly interactive session with a particular focus on the role of emerging millennial leaders in both the public and private sectors.
